I saw one of the most inspiring stories ever on The Jeff Probst Show today. The first episode I watched was around Thanksgiving, but didn’t watch with any sort of regularity until Hugh Jackman was on the show. I admired what Jeff Probst is doing with the show and how he encourages people to get out of their comfort zone and try new experiences.
Today’s episode was an update with a truly inspiring woman, Kelly Pozzoli, who had cervical cancer. You can read her blog here: OneBigExhale, it’s definitely worth reading. It amazed me how upbeat and happy she is in spite of all that she’s been through. It reminded me that no matter how bad we think things are in our own lives, there’s always someone who has it worse, and we should be thankful our problems are so minor in comparison. I’ve known a few people who had been thrown a few lemons and wanted to die. LIfe gave Kelly Pozzoli an entire grove of lemons and opened her own lemonade stand and kept a smile through the entire ordeal.
Thanks, Kelly, for sharing your story and smile with us. How you faced everything truly is an inspiration.
